This Privacy Policy explains how Latham Roofing & Solar (the trade name of Latham Energy LLC and North Valley Power LLC, together "Latham," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use this website ("Site") or otherwise interact with us.

We collect information you provide directly through our website forms or by contacting us, including:

- Property information: address of the property you're inquiring about, square footage, current utility
- Project details: information about your interest in solar, roofing, or related services
- Existing solar contract information (if you request a contract breakdown)
- Communications you send us, including SMS messages and emails
We also collect limited automatic information when you visit the Site: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URL. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote or contract breakdown, and schedule consultations
- To coordinate solar design, installation, and financing through our partners
- To send transactional and informational communications (email, SMS if you consent, phone)
- To improve the Site and our services
- To comply with legal obligations
Who we share information with
We share your information only as needed to provide our services or comply with the law:
- Installation partner: North Valley Power LLC, our licensed installer (CSLB #1080746), receives project information needed to design and install your system
- PPA, lease, and loan providers: GoodLeap, EnFin, Sunrun, Participant, and Travis Credit Union receive information needed to underwrite, approve, and service their agreements with you
- Service providers: Netlify (website hosting and form handling), Resend (transactional email), and similar vendors that help operate the Site
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA).
SMS messaging
If you check the SMS consent box on a form, you agree to receive SMS messages from Latham Roofing & Solar at the phone number you provide regarding your project. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. We use your mobile number only for project communications and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention
We retain inquiry and project data for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Inactive leads are typically retained for up to 3 years.
Your California privacy rights
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
- Request access to and a copy of your personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions)
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not engage in either)
